Delicious Natural Food Recipes

If we have become adept at certain gardening and cooking abilities it is from practical experience and from a steady regard for the convenience, natural bounty, the deliciousness, and the economy of a home garden.
Garden fresh food is succulent, brimming with flavor and health. Such home garden food should be cooked differently from truck-farm food, which has been bred to take the hardships of industrialized farming and long-distance shipping, not to mention storage. Quite plainly, the cooking and seasoning of such foods is not the cooking and seasoning that best suits tender home garden freshness, nor is the commercial frozen vegetable the same vegetable that was grown in your garden ten minutes ago and is now in your kitchen for cooking.
The authors have moved around the country a good deal, so they have had many sizes and kinds of gardens. Their Missouri farm garden was half the size of a football field, and their smallest garden was about the size of a throw rug, though in even it they raised enough lettuce to give some to their neighbors. In every case the idea was to provide unbuyable food for their table, along with getting the bonuses of pleasure and economy. Don't let anyone tell you a home garden isn't a big help to the food dollar.
Home Garden Cookbook is an expert's guide to helpful planting and cultivating delectable home-grown vegetables, fruits and nuts from seed to plate. Extensive natural food recipes are included along with descriptions of dozens of home garden foods.
